Run soon, away
Run soon, the only thing
And I know, if you choose not to decide
Well you still have made a choice
Cause I know this thing goes on and on and on..
Forgot to run away (here i am)
For I’ve got to run away
Forgot to run away (here I am)
For I’ve got run away
Look soon, away
Look soon, the veiled trail
Well I guess, a soft rain feels just right
And I can’t be wrong this time,
Cause I gotta reign it in before it gets away
Forgot to run away (here i am)
For I’ve got to run away
Forgot to run away (here I am)
For I’ve got run away
As I look out upon the day
A quiet crown atop the haze
The Northern Andes show their face
To the West, the endless ocean waves
Never felt a softer rain
Never gave myself the time of day
Forgot to run away (here i am)
For I’ve got to run away
Forgot to run away (here I am)
For I’ve got run away
And I can’t be wrong this time
Cause I know it’s on the line
And I can’t be wrong this time
Cause you’ve known it all the while

Looking out onto the pier
Shores come from heaven's light
Dissipates beyond the tideline
Glowing over a champagne night
You tell yourself you've always been here
A rendezvous within your mind
Clemency from austere windstorms
Is enough to silence our voices
We are counting on you..
To bring us out into
The Rain
We isolate
From all the frugal ideas
That we can't afford they're in vein
They're in a wake
For the shallow reminder
That words cannot always remain
It's been quite a long time
Have you noticed the shore's light
It's been quite a long time
Wander toward the moonlight
A consciousness from night’s duress
Yearning for the sun’s caress
Outstretched hands in front of me
If I could only get to sleep
The nightmare finds me in heap
Emerging dawn begins to creep
As the umbrage starts to seep
Dive in the sea to finally breathe
We are counting on you..
To bring us out into
The Rain
We isolate
From all the frugal ideas
That we can't afford they're in vein
They're in a wake
For the shallow reminder
That words cannot always remain
It's been quite a long time
Have you noticed the shore's light
It's been quite a long time
Wander toward the moonlight

I'm counting the cracks and I'm counting the seams
I'm opening eyes with the things I'm teaching
And I will never come to this
When I woke up this morning I smelled bliss
The sun peered in and I looked outside
I looked a hummingbird right in her eye
And she will never sing her song
About how she fell from a nest built so strong
I wrote a multi-volume narrative
Containing reasons for the lives we live
It corresponded with the things I've lost
I've been frugal but I've paid the costs
The aura from the city makes me eclectic
Numerous buildings tall, symmetrical
I've been to slums and I've seen the streets
In tenant houses, kids have dirty feet
Another politic's guilt, they still don't repent
Our minds are controlled by the dollars and cents
Breathing in what your body puts out
In the soup line, there's always another mouth
The trains arrive and the people go by
The air was wet and the ground was dry
Sometimes the hardest things will come
At a point in life when your legs won't run
Measuring signs all across the state
Walking in patterns one can't calculate
You have your beliefs but they start to abate
You swear you love him, but you still hesitate
Often service can be spread so thin
Then why is it based on the color of skin?
From time to time, I wish I painted
To let the brush describe the me I hate
Extensive details can be heard in my head
It's just an excuse to not get out of the bed
This is caused from a lack of motivation
A supplement of a lack of sensation
I will see you in the news

On a Holiday
04:11

Last Night she closed on the am
These words will make her find a way
Out loud, she please for a Holiday
But this girl, never knows what to say
Arrives home to her apartment
She resides a recluse of the day
To make rent, she persuades for a night,
She awakes, relieved but battered again
Scratch a ticket with a hopeful wish in mind
Back in - Heels on, she’s never looking back
Barraged from zealots of the cross
Ignored when these two worlds collide
But it’s all right
If it’s something that you had
Well, it’s too hard now
But it’s all right
If it’s something that you had
I know, I know
Commit when nothing is in her way
Feet down, she’ll make it through the months
Smokes are inherent to her life
The role model, she always condescends
She hears of better days from her friends
The life she wishes to obtain
A new job, a new house in the hills
In this life, she’s never giving up
But it’s all right
If it’s something that you had
Well, it’s too hard now
But it’s all right
If it’s something that you had
I know, I know
What it takes to make her feel this
I think that she can hear this
I think that she can feel this
But it’s all right
If it’s something that you had
Well, it’s too hard now
But it’s all right
If it’s something that you had
I know, I know
I know, I know
I know, I know
I know, I know

If You Have No One
04:24

They come canvassed in white
And now we break through Talbot's lines
For his command's in dire strain
To sear the lions head, the maiden dons her blade
As archers light their bows
Intrepid horns that carry out our song
And with hell upon our gates
For England, you will truly rue the day you came
It's the last thing that we'll ever know
For the Maid of Orleans grace
The northern crosses have been donned in blood
And the spectres flee from Rouen's wake
The sound of steel, a new tale told from shore to state
It's the last thing that we'll ever know
If I am not…
may he make me
And if I am…
so he'll keep me
For all I am
For all I am
For all I am
For all I am
For All I am
